Courses that expose students to cutting-edge content and transformative learning may be added and notification of additional program approvals may be received prior to finalization. General education program content is also subject to change. The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is home to a community of dedicated scientists, students and postdoctoral fellows who conduct innovative research on biochemical and molecular mechanisms governing cellular processes. The department offers a strong collegial atmosphere where faculty, students, postdoctoral fellows and administrators work together to promote and share in the discovery of fundamental principles governing life processes.
